In a sit-down interview on the Today show promoting her new book Drinking & Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star spoke about her broken relationship, Eddie's infamous affair with LeAnn Rimes and the overall impact the never-ending feud has on her two children young children, 8-year-old Mason and 5-year-old Jake.
"I was very angry obviously four years ago when I wrote the book. There were some things in there that I did take out because I was so mad; I'm like ‘Ooh, that's maybe a little too much of a low blow' and also the lawyers had me take some things out as well."
Obviously, vaginal rejuvenation wasn't one of them.
Today show host Willie Geist goes on to detail Brandi's references to ex Eddie Cibrian in the book, noting she calls him a "made-for-TV actor" and a "pretty face," and asks the reality star whether it's appropriate to put that out in the public considering he is the father of her two children.
"You know, I don't know if I do everything that's appropriate in life," the filter-free star confesses. "Um, the fact of the matter is, that is my opinion. One day all of this will be available for my kids to read and I think what they're going to take away from it is that throughout this entire time, I've never said a bad word about their dad in front of them."
"But they are going to be at the age soon where they will see all this online; they are going to see what you've said about their father," Geist presses.
"Not at my house, we have parental controls on everything," the sassy star fires back before admitting, "Eventually, they will."
Eddie also released a statement to the show and shared his concern over the book's no-holds-barred content:
"I certainly wish I handled some of the choices I made four years ago differently, but I have been conscious of the choices I have made since," the actor said. "Although this exploitive book, intended to hurt LeAnn and me, will ultimately only hurt and scar my kids. That deeply saddens and concerns me."
"It's all I worry about," the reality star—whose hit Bravo show is currently undergoing an unexpected shake-up—says when asked if she has concerns for her children. "Eddie not working and me having to pay my own bills, this book will help me do that," she admits.
She goes on to share that she "doesn't have" a relationship with Eddie and the two currently do not speak at all, detailing how the feud reignited when LeAnn checked into rehab for stress and anxiety.
As for the Bravo star's ongoing Twitter feud with the country singer? Brandi defends herself, claiming she doesn't "tweet LeAnn" and only "answers people" who ask her questions.
To which Geist replies, "Do you think you and LeAnn will ever have a relationship because of the kids?"
"I hope so," Glanville admits.
We'll see about that.
