John Mayer: Katy Perry Relationship Is "Very Human," Doesn't Feel Like a "Celebrity Relationship"

Singer tells CBS Sunday Morning he eventually wants to get married

John Mayer has romanced some of Hollywood's most beautiful women.

But now that he's dating Katy Perry, he says he finally doesn't feel like he's in a "celebrity relationship." In fact, he calls the duo's connection "very human."

"For the first time in my life, I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship," Mayer told Anthony Mason on CBS Sunday Morning. "I really don't. I'm not in a high-profile...I know it's high profile. It's hard to explain."

"For me, it feels like something that's very human," he explained.

And while Mayer, 35, admitted he was "just a jerk" to some of his ex-girlfriends, he still considers himself marriage material: When asked if he wants to walk down the aisle someday, he replied with an emphatic, "Of course!"

"I mean, I'm still the kid from Connecticut," he said. "That's what you do."

Well, we already know Perry, who had been married to Russell Brand, makes one beautiful bride!
