Jolie looked ravishing in a simple gray belted Atelier Versace wrap dress and peep-toe pumps, her hair pulled back into an understated low ponytail.
Beautiful gold pendant earrings, which provided a subtle pop of bling, completed the elegant, unfussy look.
(In case you were wondering, cinematographer Roger Deakins won for Outstanding Achievement in Film for his work on Skyfall, while Game of Thrones, Hunted, Wilfred and Great Expectations also scored some kudos.)
The 37-year-old Oscar winner has been lying low these last few weeks and staying out of the spotlight. She, Pitt and their six children were most recently spotted heading to a private Caribbean island for their Christmas vacay.
