Celebs were pretty in pale pouts at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

Carrie Underwood, Kelly Rowland and Miranda Lambert embraced nude lips to make understated beauty statements that nevertheless hit high notes at the Recording Academy's annual show. Both Underwood and Rowland went with neutral shades that complemented their skin tones perfectly, with the country crooner sweeping on a sweet light pink shade and Rowland reaching for a richer hue.

And then there was Lambert, who ignored the Grammy dress code with a seriously low neckline, but was less risqué when it came to her lip color, choosing a neutral shade that let her stunning smoky eyes work their magic.

Likewise, Ashanti's muted mouth helped draw attention to her gorgeous shimmery eyes, while Faith Hill let the bead embellishment along the neckline of her sleek J. Mendel cocktail dress take center stage by pulling her hair back and sporting low-key mauve shade.
