Justin Timberlake may not have brought sexy back to his dressing room—"We're bringing old man back," the tuxedoed star joked—but he was certainly giving off plenty of heat.

"I'm just excited to get onstage again and play live," he exclusively told E! News' Ryan Seacrest backstage before the Grammys. "You go through the rehearsal a million times, but until you get onstage, it's just the rehearsal."

But even the live show will just be the tip of the iceberg for Timberlake, who's also performing a more-intimate-than-Staples-Center show for about 4,000 lucky ducks at the Hollywood Palladium later tonight, which he's "wicked excited" about. And then...

"We're definitely going to go on tour," he told Seacrest, though he wouldn't reveal exactly who "we" is at this time.

"We're still putting it together, but its going to be a lot of fun," Timberlake promised. "I don't know how much I should say. It's going to be a lot of fun, I know that."

As for what we're going to see from Timberlake tonight, he told Seacrest he's excited about the "sonic palette" he and producer Timbaland have been creating in the studio.

"A lot of times you write a song and you create a character that's maybe a little bit [of an] alter ego," he explained. "But this time around, I feel like we were not only able to create those characters with the stuff that I wrote, but working very closely with Tim on it, we were able to create a sonic palette to go around it that really puts you in that world."

Timberlake also shared his secrets for relaxing before a big performance: "Lots of yoga, also yogurt," he joked. "No, man, I get pumped up. I'm at this point right now where I'm kinda, like, it's hard to sit down."
