The Grammy Awards are stylish songbirds' opportunity to shine in front of their musical peers.
And shine they do, in glittering gowns covered in sequins and gilded embellishments! With the 2013 Grammys coming up on Sunday, we thought we'd take a moment to take a look at stars who have rocked the Recording Academy's red carpet at the annual awards show.
Beyoncé looked radiant in a gold-trimmed gown at the 2005 show, while Taylor Swift stunned us with a sparkling Kaufman Franco dress in a brilliant blue in 2010.

But musicians aren't the only celebs to hit sartorial high notes at the Grammys. In fact, some of our favorite looks have come from actors or models, like Heidi Klum who looked statuesque in a dazzling gold gown by Julien MacDonald in 2011.
