Editor's Note: Season six Bachelorette and current host of NBC's 1st Look Ali Fedotowsky is blogging exclusively on E! Online about the current season of The Bachelor, giving her reactions and spilling behind-the-scenes secrets. Check back every Tuesday!

Two straight nights of The Bachelor this week…yikes. Look, I obviously watch the show and enjoy it, but good Lord! I just gave a good four hours of my life to The Bachelor this week. Good thing you're a stand-up dude, Mr. Sean Lowe!

Let's get into the dates. I've seen a lot of chemistry between Sean and Catherine in their little one-on-one moments during the group dates and cocktail parties, so I was really looking forward to seeing this date. The connection between these two was so great to see! Sean was like a giddy schoolboy with her. And how about that date? I really have to commend her because I hate the cold and I would not have had fun on a date like that. I was texting with one of the producer's from the show last night and he told me that it was one of the coldest Bachelor shoots ever and Catherine didn't seem to mind at all! Watching it on TV, she clearly handled it with ease and I honestly don't think I could have. I remember on my season that I was miserable when I had a date on a glacier. Granted, I wasn't with a guy that I was into, but still. The fact that they had fun says a lot about their relationship. Catherine has a very young and playful energy about her. She was so excited to see the ice castle on the date. I thought her reaction was darling.

The group date was the most interesting part of this episode for me. We saw Daniela get upset that she ended up on the group date and didn't get a one-on-one date. I get it. That would suck. But she didn't get a date for one reason and one reason only. Sean isn't into her. Which we all obviously know since she went home last night. Some people on Twitter seemed upset with Sean for keeping her around another week when he knew he wasn't into her, but you guys really can't blame him. Sometimes the Bachelor or Bachelorette can bend the rules and keep an extra person or send an extra person home, but for the most part a certain number of girls have to stay each week in order for there to even be a show. Sean knew he wasn't feeling Daniela, and he wasn't about to waste a one-on-one date on her knowing that she isn't the one for him. His time is limited! The same thing happened to me on my season. It sucks, and you feel horrible about it, but this isn't about tip-toeing around everyone feelings. This is about Sean being true to himself and finding a woman to spend his life with. I completely respect his decision.

That said, you guys are probably wondering how he could send Sarah home on the group date. Well, you also have to understand that there is give and take in all of this. Sean has to keep a certain amount of girls this week, but he also gets some say in getting to send some girls home early. The show has "rules" and while some rules can be broken here and there…they can't ALL be broken. The idea that every Bachelor sends home 1 to 3 people each week because they just can't make up their mind is just not probable. I've said it 100 times and I'll say it again: I knew my top two the first night…but I couldn't send everyone home the first night!

Speaking of getting sent home, my heart broke for Sarah when she left during the group date. Especially when she said that she is tired of hearing that she is great and deserves someone but never gets that someone. When she does meet the guy for her, she will look back on this experience and smile. I wish her the absolute best!

Desiree is such a cutie! I really like her and really hope she either ends up with Sean or becomes the next Bachelorette. Forget the propelling down the cliff. I fell in love with them as a couple when they climbed the tree together. And Desiree's story growing up is so inspiring. I'm sure people all over the country watched this and felt better about their situation because so many people are struggling financially all over the country and the world. She is a great role model for young people and I think she would make a great match for Sean.

I was honestly shocked when Selma got sent home. When watching the rose ceremony I thought Sean only had to send one girl home (since he sent Sarah home earlier in the episode), so I was caught by surprise when Selma went home. But when I sat back and looked at the girls remaining I guess it makes sense that she got sent home by process of elimination. Still, I thought maybe it could be Tierra. But from the looks of next week's previews Sean tells Tierra that he is really into her. Oh, man. I don't know what to think!

Let's move on to my superlatives:

Quotes of the night:

"Everybody watch your back—we have a Tierra-ist on our hands."—Leslie
"Come up here, you little cub."—Sean to Desiree

Hottest moment: Sean's kiss with Ashlee at the cocktail party.  It was hot, hot, HOT! It gave me the chills!
Favorite moment: Sean and Desiree climbing the tree. How adorable!
Prediction for next week: Even though I loved their kiss, I think Ashlee will go home next week. If not next week, definitely the following week.
Frontrunners: Desiree, Catherine, and Lindsay

Now time for questions from my Twitter followers:

Annette Madelynn asks (@AnnetteMadelyn)n @AliFedotowsky @eonline Did you get to see any of the guys when the cameras were not rolling?
Not usually. Maybe once in a while for a few minutes while the crew breaks for lunch or something. The only guy I really got to see off camera was Roberto, and that was because I begged for the extra time because I needed it in order to feel comfortable getting engaged at the end of the show.

Julian asks (@HoolianJulian) @AliFedotowsky do they tell you to pack your bags for every climate? Seems like you need everything from snow gear to bathing suits
They give you an idea of what to pack in terms of bathing suits and dresses for rose ceremonies, but when you go somewhere extreme, they will provide you with the gear you need in that climate. The guys on my season were given warm clothes, jackets, hats, etc. to wear in Iceland.

Christa DeSimone asks (@@ChristaDeSimon)e @AliFedotowsky When are the little side one-on-one interviews taped?
The little interviews you see throughout the dates are called ITM's (in the moment). They are done usually three or four times throughout a date. Basically the date will stop for 20 to 30 minutes so the producers can get interviews.

Make sure to follow me at @alifedotowsky on Twitter because I will be live tweeting every Monday. Plus, I could answer your question in my blog next week.

 Until next time…

 xo, Ali
