Well, if this isn't one of the craziest things you've heard all day, then your conversations must be pretty intriguing.

Donald Trump has served Bill Maher with a $5 million lawsuit after the comedian and TV host refused to keep his end of the bargain. What bargain, you ask? That's the good part.

Maher and Trump reportedly put in writing that if the Celebrity Apprentice star can present a valid birth certificate to prove that he's not—wait for it—the product of his mother having sex with an orangutan, then Maher would write a check for $5 million to the charity of Trump's choice. Yes, really.

However, Maher is now refusing to do so.

The offer was allegedly made during an appearance on Jay Leno's show, after Trump had made a $5 million challenge to President Barack Obama regarding his birth certificate.

In the lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by E! News, Trump proves that he formally responded to Maher's challenge with a copy of his birth certificate, which clearly states that he is the son of Fred Trump, who is, in fact, a human.

Told you it was crazy. Welcome to Hollywood.
