Iron Man 3 did its best imitation of The Avengers at the 2013 Super Bowl.

As the Marvel team-up movie did last year, the Robert Downey Jr. solo vehicle emerged as the top-ranked, in-game movie trailer in the all-important USA Today Ad Meter survey

Clips for Star Trek Into Darkness and Fast & Furious 6 scored solid buzz in a fan poll, but a preview for Brad Pitt's World War Z...not-so much.

On Sunday, trailers for four movies aired during the Baltimore Ravens-San Francisco 49ers contest, down from seven in 2012. Previews of other films, including World War Z and Johnny Depp's The Lone Ranger, showed up during CBS' pregame coverage.

In the USA Today survey, which ranked 54 spots from best to worst, Iron Man 3 finished right in the middle, in 27th place. The Avengers scored a similar result at the 2012 Super Bowl en route to its record-setting box-office run.

Oz the Great and Powerful, Star Trek Into Darkness and Fast & Furious 6 weren't far off the Iron Man 3 pace, ranking from 33rd to 38th place, respectively.

Most key for Hollywood, no movie trailer tracked in the USA Today survey was consigned to the bottom 10 basement as was last year's John Carter, which followed its tepidly received Super Bowl spot with a disastrous theatrical run.

Fast & Furious 6 edged Star Trek Into Darkness as the best movie spot in a CinemaBlend.com poll. World War Z and The Lone Ranger were right down there with Dwayne Johnson's Snitch, with all three movies scoring in the lowly single digits along with Oz the Great and Powerful.

Moviefone responded to the Snitch trailer with a "meh," and to The Lone Ranger clip with an "eh."
