Frank Ocean is opting for the high road, or "sanity" as he puts it, after an alleged brawl with Chris Brown.

The singer's decided not to press charges against Brown after Brown allegedly "jumped" Ocean outside a Los Angeles recording studio apparently over a parking spot.

After taking to Twitter to tweet the incident as well as his injury, a cut finger, Ocean posted yet another mention regarding the brawl, this time to his Tumblr.

Ocean wrote: "As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer, I'm an artist and a modern person. I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."

Frank Ocean is set to perform at the Grammys February 10, wounded finger and all.
