Beyoncé silenced lip-sync naysayers with a jaw-dropping live performance of the national anthem Thursday at a Super Bowl halftime show press conference. Case closed.
So let's now get to the real business at hand: the pop superstar's buzzed-about performance at Sunday's big game.
The "Love on Top" singer, who's been excitedly snapping pics of her prep work for the show, has now posted a second behind-the-scenes video of her rehearsals.
And whereas her first video turned the spotlight on her battalion of dancers, this one gives a shout-out to her all-girl band and singers.
The clip opens with Bey's trio of backup singers teasing out an a cappella version of "End of Time" before the video explodes into a booty-shaking assemblage of the band rocking it out during rehearsals.
The singer—gorgeous and makeup-free—proudly sits in the sidelines as she watches her backup singers kill it with their a cappella serenade.
"Did you get the smile from the boss?" one singer asks, as the camera pans to the 31-year-old Grammy winner laughing uncontrollably and mugging it up for the camera while flashing a big smile.
At the halftime show press conference Thursday, Beyoncé confirmed that she "will absolutely be singing live" at the Super Bowl, explaining that she used a prerecorded track for the inauguration due to a lack of prep time.
"I am well-rehearsed," she said about her upcoming performance. "This is what I was born to do."
Judging from that showstopping live rendition of the national anthem—and from these hard-at-work rehearsal videos—we doubt naysayers will argue with that.
