If Dakota Fanning's provocative Marc Jacob's perfume ad—among other things—wasn't sign enough that the darling star has grown up and stepped into sexy territory, then her first nude scene should do it.
Yep, that's right, the 18-year-old is taking it all off for her upcoming film Very Good Girls, which also stars Elizabeth Olsen and Boyd Holbrook.
"Yeah, well, I've never done that before and I'm very newly allowed to do that," she explained to MTV News at the Sundance Film Festival while promoting the movie. "I was newly 18, so yeah, it was, it's kind of a sensitive thing, but it's a part of life."
She added, "No one's ever comfortable [doing love scenes]," but Olsen quickly mentioned, "No, you just have to go for it. Sorry, I didn't do a sex scene in this movie so I should shut up."
Holbrook, who was part of the sex scene with Fanning, said, "As in life it's not always so perfect and glossy and seamless. It's quite awkward sometimes especially with that. This film's about its going into life, first sexual experience, so it's all about the environment and not taking it too serious."
The film, due out in theaters later this year, tells the story of two best friends (Fanning and Olsen) who are determined to lose their V-card right out of high school. And can you guess what happens? They fall for the same guy.
Ugh, hate when that happens.
