Sure, there are the usual standbys like chips, dip and—if you're feeling really ambitious—maybe you've even considered throwing some mini franks in to the mix.
But we all know that come Monday morning, we'd be feeling some major guilt over those game day indulgences.
Not to worry, though—we're here to make sure your Super Bowl snacking doesn't straight sabotage your ever-ambitious diet efforts!
We got in touch with celebrity nutritionist Haylie Pomroy, who's the mastermind behind bodies like Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Reynolds and Ashley Hamilton and she shared a healthy Super Bowl snack with us that is sure to be a (healthy) hit!
Kale Chips
Bundle of curly leaf kale
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
Optional: 2-3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a non-insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper
Remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry the kale. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt
Optional: Throw garlic on kale as well if desired
Bake until edges are brown, but are not burnt (10 to 15 minutes)
