Playing Steve Jobs hasn't been all Argo hair and bell-bottoms for Ashton Kutcher.
At some point in the indie biopic that just enjoyed (for the most part) its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, Kutcher dons the billionaire-era Jobs' uniform black togs, wire-rim eyeglasses, goatee and thinning hairline to more realistically portray the iconic cofounder of Apple Inc.
"Thank you Sundance for your support of Jobs," Kutcher tweeted last week, along with a close-up photo of himself and Jobs, Face/Off-style.
And what the hair and makeup crew couldn't do, Kutcher tried to do himself.
Before shooting started, the actor ended up in the hospital after going on a fruit diet to shed the weight to play the famously lanky billionaire, who also battled cancer throughout the last eight years of his life.
"I was, like, doubled over in pain," Kutcher recalled to USA Today.
