While the grave matter at hand concerned her impending probation violation and previous charges about lying to a police officer, we couldn't help but focus on her interesting choice in footwear for her big court day.

Lohan stepped out in towering platform heels by Christian Louboutin made of real snakeskin featuring a bold black-and-white motif. 

The lavish shoes added an unexpected element to her professional ensemble, while adding a significant boost to her height.
