Lindsay Lohan is calling in sick.
The Liz & Dick actress will be skipping out on an appearance at a Los Angeles courthouse Wednesday—where she is scheduled to answer for charges that she violated her probation—because she is ill, E! News has confirmed.
According to a court source, Judge Stephanie Sautner received notice Tuesday that the 26-year-old has reportedly come down with the flu in New York City and will be unable to fly to the hearing. Lohan supposedly saw a doctor to determine whether she was healthy enough to make the trip.
Earlier this month, the actress' lawyer pleaded, on her behalf, not guilty to probation violation stemming from a June car crash in which the actress is accused of lying to police.
LiLo has been charged with three misdemeanors: obstruction, providing false information to an officer and driving with wanton disregard.
The star remains on probation for her 2011 jewelry theft case, and in a fortuitous turn of events, Lohan's probation-violation case was transferred to the courtroom of Sautner—the very same judge who presided over the necklace-swiping case and supervised her eventual probation. Lohan's trial is scheduled for Feb. 27.
