Following in the footsteps of her BFF Tina Fey, Amy Poehler is writing a book of her own.

The 41-year-old Parks and Recreation star has scored a book deal with HarperCollins Publishers' It Books, and will pen an "illustrated, non-linear diary" that includes stories that are true and fictional, E! News confirms.

Specific details about the currently untitled book are being kept under wraps for now, but It Books stated it will be packed with humor.

This will be Poehler's first book and is scheduled to hit stores in 2014.
