Black was back on top on the red carpet at the 19th Annual SAG Awards. We saw this timeless color making a huge comeback at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month, and it proved to be more than just a one hit wonder tonight as stars including Anne Hathaway, Julie Bowen and Tina Fey all stepped out dramatic, dark ensembles.

Those leading ladies weren't the only stars turning heads in the classic, slimming color.

Michelle Dockery got everyone's attention in a revealing vintage gown by Chado Ralph Rucci paired with a lovely assortment of Bulgari jewels.

Other famous faces in black include Amy Poehler in Oscar de la Renta, Elisabeth Moss in Dolce & Gabbana and Naya Rivera in Donna Karan Atelier.

What do you think of this recurring trend? Do you like seeing black on the red carpet?
