Watch Justin Timberlake, Carey Mulligan, Garret Hedlund in Coen Brothers' Inside Llewyn Davis Trailer

    The Coen brothers are back.

Two years after wowing audiences and critics with their Oscar-nominated True Grit, Joel Coen and Ethan Coen have traded the desolate outback of THE 1800s American frontier to the hinterlands of 1960s folk music in Inside Llewyn Davis.

The movie, which has yet to nail down a distributor, follows the titular character, a struggling troubadour musician in Greenwich Village (played by W.E.'s Oscar Isaac) hustling to break into the folk-music scene.

As you'd expect, the film is vintage Coen brothers, seeping with rich atmospherics, caustic wit and a snappy soundtrack—this time, it's strummed to the strains of Bob Dylan's "Farewell."

But it's the sterling supporting cast that up the film's must-watch factor. Inside Llewyn Davis features turns by Carey Mulligan (spouting a priceless zinger about slapping on two condoms wrapped with duct tape—see it to believe it), Garrett Hedlund, John Goodman and F. Murray Abraham.

Even Justin Timberlake pops up—blink and you'll miss him in brief snippets in the trailer.

Here's hoping we get to see a lot more of J.T.—and the rest of this promising film—once it gets picked up for distribution. Hey, it's by the Coen brothers—it's only a matter of time.
