Chely Wright is pregnant!
The 42-year-old country singer and wife Lauren Blitzer-Wright are expecting identical twins, they announced Wednesday on Howard Bragman's YouTube show Gwissues.
"When gay couples have babies it's logistically a little different than when straight people have babies as we all know," Wright said. Their little ones are due in July, and she joked that she expects to be as big "as a bus or an A-frame house by around June."
The couple, who wed in August 2011, said they "feel like God blessed us with twins."
"We feel our entire relationship has been blessed. We feel lucky and ready to take on the challenges," Wright added. "We're excited to be parents and we hope we don't mess it up too badly!"
We have a feeling these future mommies will do just fine.
