Michelle Obama continued her reign as first lady of fashion at the 2013 Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C.

For the very special occasion, Obama wore a gorgeous ruby chiffon gown custom-made for her by designer Jason Wu, and she accessorized with Jimmy Choo shoes and a ring by Kimberly McDonald.

It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Obama trusted Wu to make her gown for the event: She helped put the designer on the map when she wore his one-shoulder white dress at the 2009 ceremony.

Obama's stunning red gown is just the latest big fashion moment she's had this week. On Sunday, Obama wore a Reed Krakoff dress for President Barack Obama's official swearing-in ceremony, and donned a custom Thom Browne navy coat and dress earlier today during inauguration festivities.

She also debuted a stylish new hairdo, complete with bangs, on her birthday earlier in the week.

Daughters Malia and Sasha also got in on the fashionable fun, wearing. J.Crew and Kate Spade at this morning's inauguration ceremony.
