Don't look for Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson to reunite on the big screen anytime soon.

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

"We need some time apart for a while," Radcliffe told me at the Sundance Film Festival, where he's been promoting the much buzzed-about Kill Your Darlings. "We had 10 years together and it was wonderful. But now we have to find success in our own realms."

And for Radcliffe that means more independent films like Darlings.

"It's a sign that that's where really interesting films get made," he said. "Something could start as an indie film, but it doesn't have to stay that because you can still make something into a commercial success. For me a moment of pride was when some list that came out about the top grossing movies in England last year and [The Woman in Black] was the only one in the top 15 that wasn't a studio film. That felt really good."

And we wouldn't be E! News if we didn't ask Mr. Radcliffe what he thought about Kate Middleton and Prince William's impending parenthood.

"I'm very happy for them," he said. "I will not be hanging on tenterhooks as much as the rest of the world, but I hope everything is healthy and happy."
