ABC FAMILY/DANNY FELDPretty Little Liars threw fans a major curveball by revealing that Toby (Keegan Allen) is a member of the nefarious "A" Team. Now the burning question is, when will his unsuspecting girlfriend Spencer (Troian Bellisario) find out?
We sat down with Troian and Keegan, as well as costar Shay Mitchell, to get the scoop—and thankfully, they didn't hold back!
"It happens accidentally," Keegan spilled of the highly anticipated bombshell, "and it is very intense."
Troian added this tasty tease: Spencer "is a very intelligent young woman, and very much in tune with [Toby] so it's only a matter of time before she starts to feel that something is wrong.
"I think what Spencer struggles with once she finds out—the question for her is why?" the actress continued. "Does this mean that you're totally bad? Does this mean you're doing this to help me? Can I trust you now? There's a lot up in the air and a lot to be figured out."
She also didn't mince words when it came to how Spencer reacts to the mind-blowing news. She's "overwhelmingly devastated," Troian said. "She becomes a different person. They say whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger and there's a couple moments where it might kill her." Gulp.
It sounds like Liars' amateur Nancy Drew would be better off staying indoors. "Usually when characters are in the woods, it's never a great thing in Rosewood," Keegan said ominously. "A lot of drama happens out in the boonies. A lot of craziness goes down!" Spencer, you've been warned!
