Dan Brown fans, rejoice!

Not only has the author's next book been given a title, but it has a release date as well.

The new novel's name, Inferno, was initially revealed on Tuesday's Today after folks had been given the opportunity to unlock an image of the book's cover by going to Facebook or tweeting the hashtag #DanBrownToday and filling in a mosaic.

Meanwhile, the book's publisher announced on Tuesday that it would be released on May 14.

Inferno will be set in Italy and, like Brown's best-sellers Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code and The Lost Symbol, it will focus on symbologist Robert Langdon.

"Although I studied Dante's 'Inferno' as a student, it wasn't until recently, while researching in Florence, that I came to appreciate the enduring influence of Dante's work on the modern world," Brown said in a statement. "With this new novel, I am excited to take readers on a journey deep into this mysterious realm...a landscape of codes, symbols, and more than a few secret passageways."
