Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's pregnancy was a beautiful surprise—even to the E! star herself.
Tuesday morning on the Today show, the mom-to-be opened about her exciting—and somewhat shocking!—baby news.
"Khloé [Kardashian Odom] has been very open about her fertility issues and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine, and I have similar issues, and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens," the 32-year-old brunette beauty said. "That's an exciting moment; you can't plan for things like that. So I think it's just such a blessing knowing my circumstances."
The Kourtney and Kim Take Miami star revealed that her due date is in July, right around the time Kourtney's daughter, Penelope, will be celebrating her first birthday.
Kim also touched on the possibility of becoming Mrs. West. "[Marriage is] something that we talk about, but I think it's just right now [we're] focusing on the baby," she said. "What I've learned in life is—I was always such a planner, and...you think your life is going to be a certain way, and the best surprises just happen when you don't plan."
Before that, though, Kim still needs to finalize her divorce from Kris Humphries. "I can't speak for anyone else [about why Kris hasn't signed]," she said. "It's a process."
But for right now, Kim said she's "so content with how things are and how life is. We're so happy."
