If Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are getting married sooner than later, the Salt star's dad, Jon Voight, isn't privy to the wedding planning.
"Actually, I don't know. I'm not like that with them," Voight told me at the Weinstein Company's Golden Globes afterparty at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. "You know, I've heard the rumors and so and so and what's going on. No, I'm not like that. I'm happy when I see them, we play with the children and that's it."
But it doesn't sound like he'd be completely surprised if the Jolie-Pitt family gets bigger.
"Well, you never know with those guys," Voight said. "They're a very surprising couple so you never know, but I think six is quite a lot."
And we couldn't help but ask Voight, a staunch Republican, which politician he'd like to introduce a movie of his, à la Bill Clinton and Lincoln.
He didn't have to think too much about it. "Mitt Romney," he said.
