How do you get Bill Clinton to the Golden Globes?
Be friends with the former president.
On Sunday night, the ex-POTUS surprised viewers by showing up to present Lincoln as one of the nominees at the Globes.
The idea for Clinton's secret appearance apparently came from Steven Spielberg's camp.
"Steven and Bill are quite close," a source tells E! News of the Lincoln helmer and former commander in chief.

"It was not a last-minute thing," the source says. "It was in the works and came together about five days ago."
Jennifer Lopez was impressed. "That was amazing," she said of Clinton's cameo. "That was some great casting."
It sure was.
