Who knew Anderson Cooper could have such a dirty mouth?

CNN's Silver Fox hosted Sean Penn's second annual Help Haiti Home benefit for the J/P Haitian Relief Organization last night at the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills.

And he decided it was OK for him to cuss from the podium after Penn gave an impassioned F-bomb filled plea for donations. "I didn't know we were allowed to say f—k," Anderson said. "I would have said f—k so much more."

He continued with a few more words not suitable for all ages.

Cooper also told Penn that if there was time, he would serenade the crowd with an a cappella cover of Bette Midler's 1982 ballad, "Wind Beneath My Wings." (He didn't make good on his promise, but Pearl Jam rocker Eddie Vedder did a three-song set to close out the night.)

And when Cooper first met Penn in Haiti, he said he wasn't sure how the sometimes volatile actor would behave. "I worried if I pointed a camera at him, he'd beat me up," Cooper cracked.

Later in the night, during the live auction, Leonardo DiCaprio paid $200,000 to spend a day with Pres. Bill Clinton.

Reese Witherspoon and CAA uber talent agent Kevin Huvane each ponyed up $125,000 for a trip to Italy to attend a Giorgio Armani fashion show and a backstage meet-and-greet with the legendary designer.

David Spade pledged $125,000 for two separate concert packages with Bruce Springsteen and Sir Paul McCartney.

Also among the 300 or so guests were Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, Psy, Eva Longoria, Pamela Anderson, Kristin Davis, Richard Gere, Emma Roberts, Mel Gibson, Melanie Griffith, Kiefer Sutherland, Jeremy Irons, Oliver Stone and hottie couple Chris Evans and Minka Kelly.

Earlier in the evening, The Master costars Amy Adams and Joaquin Phoenix hit the Weinstein Company's Moet & Chandon cocktail party at Mr. C Beverly Hills as did Jackie Weaver and her Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell.

The night before, Jennifer Aniston was sans fiancé Justin Theroux at CAA's VIP pre-party at Soho House, also sponsored by Moet & Chandon. Restaurateur Harry Morton Jr.'s girlfriend Demi Moore was there, too.

Also packed into the member's only club was Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Casper Smart, J. Lo's Parker costar Jason Statham and his girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kerry Washington, Rosario Dawson and Eric Stonestreet.

Many of those same stars made an earlier stop in the evening to W magazine' Best Performances Issues party at Chateau Marmont. Also there were Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Hayden Panettiere, Slumdog Millionaire's real-life couple Freida Pinto and Dev Patel, Miranda Kerr, Catherine Keener, John Hawkes, Fashion Police's George Kotsiopoulos, Rachel Zoe and E! funny lady Chelsea Handler with her Chateau owner boyfriend Andre Balazs, who cohosted the soiree with W's Stefano Tonchi and Lynn Hirschberg.
