Watch: "Bachelor" Sean Lowe on Crazy Moments

It's only the second episode, and things are already getting hot on The Bachelor!

Sean Lowe's, aka America's most desirable bachelor, search for "the one" officially kicked off last Monday with the season 17 premiere of the ABC hit series, which featured some pretty memorable contestants who did backflips, sang and more to make a lasting first impression.

We caught up with Sean to exclusively get his thoughts on the premiere and to hear what fans can expect to see in Monday's episode. (Hint: He'll probably be shirtless.) Plus, Sean reveals the text Emily Maynard sent him before the show started!

Looking ahead to this Monday's episode, Sean teases that viewers can expect all sorts of action.

"Monday's show will be very exciting. I take one girl on kind of an adrenaline, heart-pounding date that puts her out of her comfort zone. I think people will like that," he says. "The next date gets a little steamy right off the bat…the romance actually happens a lot faster than I had anticipated."

Of course, fans saw that Sean had quite the initial attraction to Tierra, to whom he gave a rose moments after meeting her. But Sean explains that there are some twists ahead. "There were a few women on that first evening where I thought, ‘Wow, they might really be the one.' But I think as the season progresses, you'll see I'm drawn to other people and that initial attraction, that initial spark, starts to wear off, and then I'm drawn towards these women who have personalities that are much more attractive."

Deciding to join the show wasn't a no-brainer for Sean, who placed third in Emily's season. "It wasn't an easy decision, because when the producers initially approached me, I was still getting over Emily and that was so emotionally taxing," he reveals. "I felt like I owed it to myself to give it one more chance."

And while he hasn't seen her since Bachelorette couple Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum's wedding where they "exchanged pleasantries," Sean reveals that Emily sent him a supportive text. "She did shoot me a really nice text before the show started that said, 'I'm rooting for you, I'm here if you need me.' I thought that was really sweet to know that she's in my corner."

Of course, we had to ask Sean about some of the premiere's most, um, memorable contestants. Here's what he initially thought of 'em!

Robyn's backflip: "My initial reaction was, ‘Oh my gosh, are you OK?!' Then once I found out she was OK, it was funny. I knew she was embarrassed and I just wanted to let her know it's not a big deal. It's quite endearing that you went out on a limb. And it's certainly memorable!

Lindsay's wedding dress: "That one took me back. My first reaction was like,' I gotta get out of here. This girl's crazy!'  But after sitting down with her, I realized that she just has a really cool sense of humor and I can appreciate that.

Kelly's song: "I wasn't crazy about the singing because it made me question, 'Is she here to further her singing career? Does she really want to get to know me?'"

The Bachelor airs Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
