Brooke Burke-Charvet is clearly moving forward.

The Dancing with the Stars cohost made the talk show rounds on Tuesday not only to promote her new exercise DVDs, but also to give fans a health update in the wake of her recent surgery for thyroid cancer.

"It was quite an end to last year, but feeling great. Just a little scar," Burke-Charvet, who is now cancer-free, told Today's Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. "It's only been a month, but I'm already back to working out. It's crazy to be here talking about cancer and fitness at the same time, but I feel great."

And during an appearance on Good Morning America, Burke-Charvet says she was "very fortunate" to have detected her cancer when she did.

"The message is really about preventative health," the mother of four noted. "Because I had no symptoms, and generally with thyroid cancer, it's very subtle symptoms. I went for a regular physical."

Meanwhile, Burke-Charvet is getting ready to cohost the Miss America competition this weekend.
