Ahem. Listen, we're all adults here, right? OK. We know that sometimes, s--t happens. At the most inopportune times.

So, yes. Al Roker pooped his pants in the White House.

There. We said it. But more importantly, so did the Today show weatherman, who made the in-equal-parts embarrassing and way, way TMI admission during an interview with Dateline over the weekend.

The incident went down back in 2002, when he visited the White House just one month after undergoing gastric bypass surgery.

"When you have a bypass and your bowel has been reconstructed, you think you're pretty safe," the 58-year-old, who lost 100 pounds as a result of the procedure, told Dr. Nancy Snyderman.

"I probably went off and ate something I wasn't supposed to."

He cautiously continued toward the inevitable end of his anecdote, saying he felt like he had to "pass a little gas here. Only a little something extra came out."

Not content until she got the money soundbite, Snyderman, who noted that such incidents were common side effects of the major surgery, said, "You pooped your pants."

"I pooped my pants," Roker said. "Not horribly, but enough that I knew...So I was panicking. So I got to the restroom of the press room, threw out the underwear and just went commando."

Actually, we take back our earlier statement. That one was the TMI.
