Amour Loved by National Society of Film Critics; Lincoln, The Master, Magic Mike Also Score

Emmanuelle Riva, Amour Sony Pictures Classics

French drama Amour is much loved by the National Society of Film Critics, winning Best Picture, Best Director for Michael Haneke and Best Actress for 85-year-old Emmanuelle Riva.

But there was plenty of love to go around, with some of Hollywood's big Oscar hopefuls also scoring big with the critics. Lincoln's Oscar front-runner Daniel Day Lewis took Best Actor and the flick's writer Tony Kushner scored for Best Screenplay.

Meanwhile, the Best Supporting Actress nod went to Amy Adams for her role in The Master, with Matthew McConaughey (and his ripped torso) earning Best Supporting Actor honors for Magic Mike.
