Moon Bloodgood just produced a little ray of sunshine.
The Falling Skies star, whose character was revealed to be pregnant at the end of last season, welcomed a baby girl with husband Grady Hall earlier this month, People reports.
Daughter Pepper, their first child together, was born Dec. 15. The proud parents waited to find out if they were having a boy or a girl until the moment of truth (i.e. the birth).
Bloodgood starred in the cult-favorite sci-fi series Terminator Salvation before landing the role of Dr. Anne Glass on the alien drama Falling Skies, which is coming back to TNT for a third season this year. But while Bloodgood's real-life expectant status factors into Dr. Anne's future, it turns out that life reflected art this time around.
After learning about the season-two cliffhanger, "literally I got pregnant a week later," Bloodgood says in the September issue of KoreAm. "I joke that I'm method, but I'm not."
She tied the knot with Hall, who owns an Internet company, in August 2011. The 37-year-old actress is also currently on the big screen playing John Hawkes' caretaker in the critically acclaimed indie drama The Sessions.
