Despite the ending of the Twilight franchise that catapulted the 22-year-old star to her megafame status, K.Stew isn't slowing down anytime soon.
Looking stunningly sexy in a chic ensemble with a gothic touch, the young actress graces the cover of V Magazine, in which she reveals she struggles to find a balance between protecting herself and opening up to others:
"I have realized that you can close yourself off to life if you put walls up, but it's a difficult thing," the Breaking Dawn star—who was the center of 2012's biggest cheating scandal—shared. "You can't see over people, can't see in and you also can't see out. So I have gotten quite comfortable with being unafraid. I keep saying the same thing, it's not about being fearless but really just embracing the fears and using them."
Stewart also discussed her sex- and drug-filled flick On the Road (in which she goes topless and has a threesome) and reveals why she respects her character Marylou's "tough core."
"When you are a teenager a year can be crippling to maneuver through, you're just out there questioning things," Robert Pattinson's other half revealed. "And so to be completely OK with that and not think that there is anything wrong with you, that's something I've recently understood. I'm 22. Marylou started this whole thing when she was 15."
Hmm…do we sense a wiser, more mature K.Stew as she enters 2013?
