Happy 2013, TV fans!

We hope you made wonderful resolutions for yourselves, but only after you finished writing resolutions for your favorite TV characters like we asked you to do last week. Clearly, fans of certain TV shows have wanted to write these resolutions for awhile, and when we gave you free reign to tell us how you really feel…well, you guys saw the comment section.

From Glee and Supernatural to NCIS and The Mentalist, we picked the best resolutions written for all your favorite shows to hopefully give your characters (i.e.: the writers) something to think about for the coming year:

"(Supernatural's) Dean Winchester: My New Year's Resolution is to hug my Angel Cas (Misha Collins) more."— Hannah

"My resolutions for Brittany S. Pierce (Heather Morris) would be to a) dump Trouty (Chord Overstreet), b) get back with her soulmate Santana (Naya Rivera), c) either graduate high school or drop out and get her GED (with Santana's help.. in New York...)."—Shell

"My New Year's Resolution is for NCIS Tony (Michael Weatherly) AND Ziva (Cote de Pablo) to finally admit just how much they love each other after all these years of denying those feelings and they'll agree to begin a romantic relationship! Also, that's #26 on Tony's Bucket List - Tell Her!"—zoyaroses

"Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) on Nikita needs to open up to someone, anyone, about her addiction relapse, and get help getting clean. Then she and Sean need to have a nice long talk."—Kat

"For Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) on Glee: Find your self-confidence; find a dream that ignites your passions and shows you are a star; follow that dream with tenacity and heart; realize you are not just New York good but everywhere good. After coming to believe in yourself and finding & following you dream, go to New York and see how to make things work with Rachel (Lea Michele)."—NYE

"For (The Mentalist) Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) to at last move pass his obsession with Red John and allow himself to be happy once in a while. For (Elementary) Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson (Lucy Liu) to admit they're good for each other. Not on a romantic level but as spurs and goads to move forward in their lives"—Mewofford
