Pay attention, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

BabyNames.com revealed the best and worst celebrity baby names for 2012, and it looks like some stars who are extremely successful in show business struck out (per popular opinion, anyway) when it came to naming their offspring—mainly, Jay-Z and Beyoncé.

Yup, the power couple's little girl Blue Ivy was voted the worst female baby name of the year. Yikes!

The website's founder and CEO Jennifer Moss explains that the general public does not respond well to noun names—like Alex O'Loughlin's son named Lion, which was voted worst boy name—or worse, an adjective and a noun like Blue Ivy. But little Blue wasn't alone. Another girl name that didn't resonate well with people was Maxwell (hi, Jessica Simpson!).

"There was also a minor backlash to the two baby girls named Maxwell this year," Moss said. (If you're wondering, the other was actress Lindsay Sloane's daughter.)  "It's not unusual for male names to cross over onto the female list, but you'll rarely see it go the other way."

However, with all that said, there were some celebs that seemed to get it right when it came to baby names.

Hilary Duff's baby boy Luca Cruz was voted best boy baby name of the year, while former Bachelorette star Jen Schefft's Charlotte Grace got best girl name of 2012.

"We're not seeing crazy names like Pilot Inspektor or Moxie Crimefighter anymore," says Moss. "I think celebrities are becoming a little more sensitive to the fact that the child has to live with his or her name."
