AKM-GSIKim Kardashian is pregnant with Kanye West's baby: That's one way to end 2012 on a high.
Early this morning, the mama-to-be broke her silence on the happy news, and took to her official blog to share her feelings with her fans in a post titled, appropriately enough, "New Year, New Beginnings."
"It's true!" she wrote. "Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us."
Kim's father, lawyer Robert Kardashian, died in 2003, while Kanye's own beloved mother, Donda West, passed away after undergoing plastic surgery in 2007.
"Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and starting a family," Kim went on in the short and sweet post. "Happy New Year!!! Xo."
Oh, we think it will be.
