You can take a girl out of the South, but you can't take the South out of the girl!

Reese Witherspoon paid homage to her Tennessee upbringing by naming her and Jim Toth's baby boy after the Volunteer State. On Tuesday, the 36-year-old Oscar winner dropped by Chelsea Lately to gab with her good friend Chelsea Handler about her super-secretive third pregnancy.

Chelsea, 37, asked her This Means War costar point-blank, "How did you get pregnant?"

Reese laughed and made a funny face. "Um...I don't know! How do you think I got pregnant?" she quipped. "Do you want to talk about this later? We don't have to talk about it right now."

"We don't have to talk about it now, but I would prefer to," Chelsea fired back.

She went on to say that Reese "wouldn't tell me if she was having a boy or a girl."

"Then you said, 'I'm pretty sure someone's reading our texts,' and I said, 'Please don't text me again because I don't want to be blamed," Chelsea added. "Then you had the baby and you named it Tennessee and I still couldn't figure out if it was a boy or a girl."

"Or just a redneck," Reese said laughingly.

She went on to say little Tennessee is "super cute" and her daughter Ava is "so awesome" and like a second mom. Reese also has an 8-year-old son, Deacon, from her marriage to Ryan Phillippe.

We're willing to bet all three of Reese's kids are raised right with some proper Southern manners!
