The 20-year-old daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love finally reached out to her estranged mother on Tuesday.
"@Courtney merry Christmas kooksmcgee," Frances tweeted.
(Three years ago, she took out a restraining order against Courtney and went to live with other relatives. Since then, contact between the twosome has been purposefully limited.)
Courtney, 48, was beyond delighted her daughter finally opted to break the ice. "That tweet was the best gift ever, its all I need even if its a dammed social network :) miss that little head of yours," she wrote back.
"That beautiful little head, and those long legs. Oh and by the way, sorry about the second hand smoke thing re: baby pic," she wrote.
She concluded: "That was best Christmas gift ever. proudest mama in the world thank you Bean. means the world to me"
Aw. Maybe 2013 will be the year these two patch things up.
