Former iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove—whose precious pooch Pearl passed away in October—shared a very furry (and friendly!) Christmas gift with her nearly three million Twitter followers: a new pup named Penny!
"Most amazing surprise early Christmas gift #penny #inlove," the singer-songwriter posted on her social media page.
The adorable black and white fluffball will surely help to heal the Nickelodeon star's broken heart after she lost her 14-year-old childhood dog, who was present for both her "first day of kindergarten" and her "first day of college."
Carly's pup Penelope (Penny for short) will keep the 19-year-old student company at the University of Southern California. She's currently a freshman at the SoCal college after wrapping her seven-year run on the hit Nickelodeon show.
The best part about the precious present? Miranda hasn't stopped tweeting pics!
