    Katie Holmes Forgets Her Lines on Broadway, Swings by Late Show to Tell the Tale

    Katie Holmes is still glowing post-split from Tom Cruise…even after overcoming a major Broadway flub.

    The 34-year-old former Dawson's Creek star looked smashing as she hit the Late Show Thursday, revealing a recent time she forgot her lines during a live performance of the Broadway play Dead Accounts.

    So how did Holmes get through the acting nightmare?

    "I just started," she said. "Obviously I knew what the point of it is, so I made my way there." 

    Whew.

    Holmes said that while the ordeal only lasted a few minutes, it "felt like a good hour."

    The Jack and Jill star plays Lorna in the comedic play, the high-strung sister of a con man who returns home with millions of dollars.
