The 25-year-old "Amen" rapper is on touring lockdown after a judge found he violated probation restrictions stemming from his 2008 conviction for gun and drug-related charges, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
"You need to get yourself together," Judge Genece Brinkley told Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams, Monday. "You are going to be home for Christmas and New Year's."
Judge Brinkley took the rapper to task for apparently violating her order to stop scheduling performances as of Nov. 16 so that he could reinstate his travel permit. While Mill's lawyer argued that previously scheduled trip to Africa had been canceled, appearances he was set to make in the Virgin Islands and around the United States would now also be affected.
"My best way of staying out of jail is staying out of the streets. I got bills. I take care of my family ... I just want to work and do my job," said Mill told the court.
Mill's plea didn't appear to sway the judge, who said: "Your travel pass is revoked. You can't just thumb your nose at me, and they can't just thumb their nose at me and think it's OK."
The rapper catapulted to fame upon the release of his 2012 mixtape Dreamchasers 2, and later released his first album, Dreams & Nightmares, in October which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard.
