Looks like Chad Johnson's estranged ex-wife Evelyn Lozada has had a change of heart.

The 37-year-old television personality agreed to drop the no-contact order against her ex-husband today, the footballer's attorney Adam Swickle confirms to E! News.

"They can now have contact with each other as they choose," Swickle said.

Previous reports that Lozada dropped a restraining order against Johnson are false, said Swickle, who insists Evelyn has never applied for a restraining order.

The judge issued a no contact order after Johnson, formerly Chad Ochocinco, pleaded no contest to his misdemeanor battery charges in September, stemming from his domestic violence arrest after he allegedly got physical with his ex-wife in August.

In exchange for zero jail time, Chad was sentenced to 12 months' probation and has to spend 26 weeks in a battery intervention program. This program will be conducted through private counseling with a private therapist.

Lozada and Johnson finalized their divorce in September after just two-months of marriage after the alleged battery incident occurred.

Swickle says he is entering Chad into an early probation termination program.
