We Predict the 2013 Golden Globe TV Winners So You Don't Have to—You’re Welcome

Golden Globe Predictions PBS, FOX, ABC, Showtime

Spoiler alert! Game of Thrones will beat out Mad Men in the drama category at the Golden Globes.

What's that? Neither show was nominated for Best Drama Series? Well, that prediction is slightly off, we'll give you that. But here are the rest of our insta-predix based solely on how we feel in our hearts and souls mere hours after the 2013 Golden Globe nominations were announced.

The complete list of Golden Globe nominations

Best TV Movie or Miniseries
Game Change
will take this one home because it won five—count ‘em, five—Emmys this year. Also, the cast is rock solid: Julianne Moore, Ed Harris, Woody Harrelson and Sarah Paulson.

Best TV Series, Drama
Please. Is there any doubt? Homeland. Now let's talk about the season two finale happening this weekend…you don't really think they'd kill off Damien Lewis or Claire Danes, do you?!

Best TV Series, Comedy
Modern Family
will win because they almost always do and it's the boring choice. Girls could snatch it away, but we doubt it.

See Golden Globe snubs and surprises on the movie side

Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama
Sergeant Brody, aka Homeland's Damian Lewis, this one is yours.

Best Actor, TV Series Comedy
Alec Baldwin
. No, Jim Parsons. No, Matt LeBlanc. Yikes, they are all previous winners so it's a toss up. You know what? We pick Louis CK because we love him and he deserves it. Homeboy writes, stars in, edits, produces and directs Louie. Give him a freakin' award.

Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama
Claire Danes
for Homeland. Next.

2013 SAG Awards: All the nominations

Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy
Parks and Rec
's Amy Poehler will win because we will use our mind power to make it happen. And also, we might be starting our non-threatening-but-could-very-quickly-turn-threatening letter-writing campaign to make sure she wins after losing at the Emmys.

Best Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie
Benedict Cumberbatch
is our pick. We adore him. Also, he's so in right now with roles in The Hobbit and Star Trek, so if there are enough nerds voting, Sherlock will steal away the Golden Globe for sure.

Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie
We anticipate the Emmy winner, Julianne Moore, winning the gold in this category. It's the expected and rightful choice.

Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Mini-Series or TV Movie
Tough category, but Schmidt himself (Max Greenfield) may emerge victorious because he made us fall in love with a douchebag on New Girl. But Homeland's Mandy Patinkin will probably win, and we are OK with that because Saul rules!

Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or TV Movie
It's fun to say we live in world where Maggie Smith and Hayden Panettiere are going head-to-head for an award. We pick Hayden, because it would be awesome for so many reasons.
