Camille Grammer Talks Trouble With Kelsey: Our Kids Can't Say My Name in His House

According to Camille Grammer, sharing custody with Kelsey Grammer is no picnic.

"It very difficult to coparent with someone who won't speak to you, text you or email you," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills neighbor laments to Anderson Cooper in an interview airing Tuesday on Anderson Live.

"He doesn't speak to me at all," Camille says. "So it's very, very difficult because I've reached out to him. I think it's very important to be amicable to raise children and he refuses to. There's just so much I can do at this point."

The exes communicate through their lawyers instead, she says, "so we are spending a fortune just to try to coparent, which is ridiculous."

And, according to the reality-TV star, Kelsey makes sure his house is a Camille-free zone by forbidding their two kids from saying their mom's name when he's around.

It's "kind of sad I found this out, that they are not allowed to same my name in the house," Camille told Cooper and his cohost for the day, Fox 5 anchor Rosanna Scotto. "So these poor kids, my daughter and my son, can't say my name in their father's house."

And speaking of those lawyers, Camille claims that the terms of their divorce—the ones regarding money, anyway—are not yet finalized, even though Kelsey is remarried with a 5-month-old daughter.

"For the most part, I thought they were done because we came to agreement basically on everything and then I kept getting emails every other week from his lawyers that he wanted to keep changing things," Camille says, recalling that they were supposed to sign the papers a year ago but Kelsey "bailed" before they could go through with it.

"So on my end, I said, 'OK, I agree to all of this,' but he keeps making changes. So I feel that, at this point, he is prolonging the process."

But it sounds as if she's got a relaxing holiday up ahead—she's planning on Hawaii with the kids.

In a perfect world, Camille says, her relationship with Kelsey would be "amicable."

"I mean, we were best friends and I miss my best friend," she says. "So, it would be nice. I know it's never going to be that relationship or that friendship for whatever reason, but just for us to get along, for the sake of our children."
