New Girl fans can tell you that Zooey Deschanel and her character Jess pretty much share the same quirky-cute style. So, we weren't too surprised when we spotted the blue eyed beauty borrowing a wardrobe item from her fashionable alter ego.
Both Jess and Zooey are fabulous flats devotees, but when it comes to special occasions, it turns out each indie gal reaches for colorful CHROMATICgallerie heels.
Jess paired radiant red pumps from the brand with a navy and cream Kate Spade fit-and-flair dress for her first date with Russell on season one of the show, and a pretty purple pair is front and center in Deschanel's promotional poster for the show's second season. Deschanel, meanwhile, sat pretty in a pink pair at Fox's TCA Tour earlier this year.
Indie gals wary of swapping out their go-to ballet flats for the pumps can rest easy knowing the pairs are available in easy-on-the-feet two inch pumps (or four inches for the more daring) and a rainbow assortment of colors to fit just about any girly Deschanel-style dress hanging in their closet.
