This was an episode for the interns to shine. Or perhaps get their own spinoff?

Tonight we saw the Seattle Grace youngins tired, stressed, and being treated like...well, how Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Cristina (Sandra Oh) were treated when they first started out.

Let's recap "Love Turns You Upside Down" right now:

Handy Man: Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) surgery to repair his hand is a go. Callie (Sarah Ramirez) determines that a live donor nerve is preferable, and the longer they wait the less chance it works. Meredith has her intern calling all of Derek's sisters. Which sister flies in? Lizzie Shepherd played by the one and only Neve Campbell!  So which hungry intern will get in on the surgery? Dr. Ross (Gaius Charles) wins a contest to participate Derek's surgery because he's the only one who treated him like a patient.

Intern Initiation: All of the interns continue to be clones of our Seattle Grace favorites (in a good way). They also aren't let near any surgeries and battle each other for the best cases. This makes some succeed (like Dr. Ross) and some fall behind for acting too greedy.

Winter Fling: Alex and his intern Dr. Wilson (Camilla Luddington) get closer. Remember, she is the one who makes fun of all the other interns for crushing on him. They are on a pediatrics case that bonds them together. Who else smells a relationship blooming?

Not Baby Bumpin': Meredith is hiding her pregnancy news because she fears that she is going to have a miscarriage.
