The tax man cometh for Stephen Baldwin.

The Usual Suspects star has been arrested in Rockland County, New York for failing to pay his taxes, E! News confirms.

Per the Rockland County District Attorney's Office, the 46-year-old Baldwin was taken into custody and arraigned on one count of repeated failure to file New York state personal income tax returns for the years 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Consequently, the youngest Baldwin brother's alleged tax liability comes to more than $350,000, which includes penalties and interests.

"At a time when Rockland County and New York State face severe fiscal shortfalls, we cannot afford to allow wealthy residents to break the law by cheating on their taxes," said DA Thomas P. Zugibe in a statement. "The defendant's repetitive failure to file returns and pay taxes over a period of several years contributes to the sweeping cutbacks and closures in local government and in our schools. My Office will continue to investigate and prosecute those who cheat our tax system for their personal gain."

Following his arraignment in Nyack Justice Court, Baldwin was released on his own recognizance. The actor is due to return to court on Feb. 5, 2013.

If convicted of the charge, he could face up to four years in a state prison.

Baldwin's rep told E! News the thesp was on an "excursion" and could not be reached for comment.

This is Baldwin's second run-in with the law this year. He was busted in New York City on Aug. 23 for driving with a suspended license, but the judge in that case dismissed the charge after he pleaded guilty and paid a $75 fine.
