The countdown to music's biggest night has officially begun.

LL Cool J and Taylor Swift cohosting the The Grammy Nominations Concert Live in Nashville tonight, spilling the names up for a handful of the award's biggest categories, along with rocking out to some awesome performances.

Let's recap some of the show's highlights...

Best Collaboration: Swift beatboxed (sorta) and LL attempted to sing her song "Mean." It was short-lived but will forever remain in our hearts.

Best Throwback: Get a look at Johnny Cash in his prime! The show paid tribute to the singer by showing a clip of the country crooner at the Grammys in 1973 (the first time it was in Nashville), along with performances by the Band Perry and Dierks Bentley

Worst Idea: Yes, it was creative to have Hunter Hayes sing the nominees for Best Pop Vocal Album, but have you seen the guy? No one's going to be paying attention to the announcement with a cute face like that.

Best Visual: Two words: Adam Levine. The Maroon 5 singer looked adorbs as always performing with the band, especially when he'd bust a quick little move from time to time. Sway those hips, boy!

Worst Attempt at Looking Surprised: C'mon, Taylor. You knew you'd get at least one nomination. Congratulations!

Best Combination: A massive amount of confetti and Luke Bryan singing, jumping and charming the lady fans onstage? Yes, please.

Random, But We're Not Mad: Before announcing the noms for Best New Artist, Little Big Town busted out an a capella version of the Beatles' "Yesterday." Yeah, not sure what made them do that, but it sounded great, so who cares why?

Best Dance Party: Sorry, Levine and Bryan, although both of your hips don't lie, the best moves came from Ne-Yo and his backup dancers during his performance of "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)."
