Frankie Muniz has opened up about his recent health scare.

The Malcolm in the Middle star revealed on Twitter yesterday that he had suffered a mini stroke, and on Wednesday's Good Morning America, the actor offered up additional details.

"I couldn't say words. I thought I was saying them. My fiancée was looking at me as if I was speaking a foreign language," Muniz recalled, saying he was riding his motorcycle in Phoenix on Friday when he lost his vision in one eye and his body became numb.

His doctors subsequently discovered that he had suffered a mini stroke, tiny lapses in blood flow to the brain.

Meanwhile, Muniz, who insisted he lives a healthy lifestyle free of drugs and alcohol, said he still has trouble getting "a deep breath in."

He added, "I'm still trying to make sense of it, but happy I'm alive."

Incidentally, Muniz turns 27 today. He certainly has a lot to celebrate.
